German Week, 17.-21.3.2025

Join us for a week-long celebration of the German language and all the opportunities it brings! The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), alongside the German Embassy London and the Goethe-Institut London, invites you to take part in #ShoutOutForGerman – a campaign highlighting the importance of German in education, careers, and cultural exchange.

From 17 to 21 March 2025, we encourage students, teachers, and language enthusiasts to share what German means to them. Whether you’ve studied in Germany, taken part in an exchange, or simply love learning the language, this is your chance to showcase your experiences.

Get involved by tagging the DAAD and the German Embassy London using #ShoutOutForGerman to highlight your language-learning journey – whether it’s a classroom project, a favourite German phrase, memories from a DAAD-supported programme, or a fun moment inspired by German culture. However you choose to participate, your contributions will help demonstrate the impact of learning German across universities, schools, the workplace and beyond!
