In conjunction with this year’s German Language Competition there will be a special round-table discussion with four professionals with a wealth of experience in journalism to explore how the UK media report on Germany and vice versa. How do the two nations see one another? How can stereotypes and clichés about ‘the other’ be overcome? How do newspaper, radio and tv reporting differ?
