“AI Safety, Security and Innovation in the Context of Regulation from an Anglo-German Perspective”
The event was attended by DAAD Alumni and DAAD scholarship holders in London who contributed to the lively exchange on this most relevant topic. We’d like to thank the representatives of the Munich Centre for Machine Learning that attended the discussion and those that sat on the panel, Prof. Dr. Björn Schuller (Principal Investigator at MCML), Prof. Dr. Daniel Rückert (Director at MCML), as well as Dr. Emily Sullivan, senior lecturer (Philosophy of AI and Machine Learning, Ethics of AI at the University of Edinburgh) and Kir Nuthi (Head of AI and Data at techUK). Thank you also to Kelly Zhang, assistant professor in statistics at Imperial College London for expertly hosting the discussion.
Finally, we would also like to give a big thanks to the Goethe-Institut London for kindly providing the venue, to Stein’s Berlin for catering the event and to The Office of the Free State of Bavaria in the United Kingdom for their support.
